On occasion Districts may be presented with proposed activities that may be considered high-risk or excluded from the CSRM Memorandum of Coverage (MOC). It is important for Districts to review District guidelines and/or other special arrangements for these types of activities and events and to review and understand the CSRM MOC. To support Members with their review of high-risk activities and exclusions, the following assistive document is available to Members. For additional support District Members can always reach out to their designated CSRM Risk Manager to discuss a proposed activity.
When considering sponsoring activities or events such as field trips, and fund-raising events, CSRM recommends that Districts and their sites evaluate the perceived benefits versus the potential risks. CSRM has developed an assistive risk assessment document to support Districts and their sites when evaluating potential risks associated with the proposed activity. For additional support District Members can always reach out to their designated CSRM Risk Manager to discuss a proposed activity.
