Community College Focus Group

The CSRM Community College Focus Group was established to support CSRM’s community college members by creating a dedicated platform for collaboration, communication, and shared learning. This group brings together risk management professionals from community college districts across California to foster meaningful dialogue and address the unique challenges facing higher education institutions.

Facilitated by California Schools Risk Management (CSRM), the quarterly Community College Focus Group provides a structured space for members to exchange ideas, discuss emerging trends, and explore solutions to common issues impacting their campuses. Through open discussion and peer engagement, participants gain valuable insights and practical strategies that can be applied within their own districts.

  • Establish and maintain ongoing dialogue among community college districts
  • Promote collective problem-solving on college-wide challenges
  • Discuss general concerns, emerging risks, and regulatory developments
  • Provide opportunities for professional development and knowledge-sharing
  • Strengthen connections and collaboration among members
  • By participating in the Community College Focus Group, members benefit from a supportive network of peers who understand the complexities of the community college environment. Together, participants work to enhance risk management practices, improve campus safety, and strengthen institutional resilience across the CSRM community.
