The CSEBA Marketplace is designed to help employees actually “shop” for health insurance coverage online. Their experience will be similar to the way they may currently shop on various web based on line sites. All medical plans will be offered online in a tiered format enabling individual employees to compare plans and options before they “click.” There are four HMO choices and three PPO choices named after various metals, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each provides options related to their coverage in one simple shopping experience.
We partner with Health Advocate, one of the foremost-managed behavioral health care organizations, to offer member districts a full spectrum of services.
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential and comprehensive service designed to help employees and their household members lead a happier and more productive life at home and at work by working with them to resolve personal and workplace challenges through face-to-face counseling or telephonic coaching.
EAP counseling assessment and referral services are available 24/7 to make work-life referrals for childcare and eldercare, legal assistance, financial planning, time management, alternative health care & much more. The EAP offers specialized education wellness seminar packages addressing work-life issues such as violence in the classroom, stress in the educational system, cultural diversity, handling job burnout and more.
In addition to the EAP services which include counseling assessment and referral services offered to eligible medical plan members and their dependents, the EAP through Health Advocate has established a team dedicated to assisting our member district Managers, Supervisors, HR Representatives and Administrators in solving workplace issues.
We partner with Health Advocate to provide a unique health care-related service available to all member district employees enrolled in one of our CSEBA medical plans.
Health Advocate’s program referred to as Healthcare Help is a feature made up of health care professionals, such as nurses and doctors, as well as benefits and claims specialists, whose sole purpose is to assist employees with health care or health insurance-related issues and navigate the complexities of the healthcare system. Health Advocate helps employees make more informed health care decisions. It is confidential, unbiased and objective. You can access the program via website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Their normal business hours are between 8am and 9pm EST Monday-Friday. After hours and during weekends staff is available for assistance. All member districts, community colleges and schools enrolled in one of our medical plans have access to this valuable employee service. Not only can employees access this valuable resource but spouses, dependent-children, parents and parents-in-law can too.
The best part is that the Health Advocate program cost is included in the current premiums. There is no extra charge.
